The Pend Oreille Arts Council is unveiling its latest exhibit, "Miniature Masterpieces," this holiday weekend.

The exhibition showcases a delightful collection of small-scale works from talented artists. This unique show will be held at the POAC Gallery, 313 N. Second Ave., from July 5 to July 30, inviting art enthusiasts and tourists alike to explore and enjoy these compact treasures.

The community is invited to join the arts organization for an opening reception Friday, July 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. It will be a chance to meet the artists and be among the first to view these miniature marvels. Each piece in the exhibition is no larger than 16 inches by 16 inches — including the frame — making them perfect souvenirs that are easy to pack in a suitcase or ship home. These beautiful and unique artworks are wonderful keepsakes of your time in Sandpoint, whether you live here or are visiting.

Don't miss this opportunity to own a piece of art that captures the charm and creativity of our talented local artists. Whether you're an art collector or simply looking for a special momento, "Miniature Masterpieces" offers something for everyone, Tone Stolz, POAC executive director, said.

"People" by Barry Burgess is among the works showcased at the Pend Oreille Arts Council's upcoming exhibit, "Miniature Masterpieces." The exhibit kicks off with an opening reception from 5-7 p.m. Friday, July 5.
