DLO concert

The Columbia Falls Lions Club summer concert series kicks off July 18 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Marantette Park with the Don Lawrence Orchestra. Come out and hear the big band sounds of the orchestra. No entry fee, but donations gladly accepted. The concert is a make-up of the one that canceled due to weather on June 21.



Women meet

Columbia Falls Women’s Connection will host a luncheon on Wednesday, July 17 at 11:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church located at 827 9th St West in Columbia Falls. Special guests, The Montana Old Time Fiddlers will share their amazing musical talent. And keynote speaker, Dave McLean, director of A Ray of Hope will share his vision for this much needed resource for our community. Donations of toilet paper, paper towels and feminine hygiene products will be collected for A Ray of Hope.  Cost is $10 and all women are welcome to attend.
