MOSES LAKE — As the month comes to an end and the temps are up, there are still plenty of cool things to do in the Basin. Here are a few things to consider if you’re needing a break from the house.

Aloha Summer Celebration

A good book
Join a librarian from the Ephrata library at lee Park in Ephrata for a chance to hear a story at 9 a.m. this Saturday. Weather permitting, there will be a book reading or two, some silly songs and just a good time.
