COEUR d’ALENE — Police arrested five local men Thursday on charges related to illegal drugs, three of whom are accused of trafficking cocaine, according to the Coeur d’Alene Police Department.

Jeremiah J. Fisher, 20, of Coeur d’Alene, faces charges of trafficking in cocaine, aiding and abetting delivery of a controlled substance and conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance. 

Hayden resident Andrew E. Siler, 20, is charged with trafficking in cocaine, aiding and abetting the delivery of a controlled substance, conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance and two counts of delivering a controlled substance. Brian A. Scholwinski, 19, of Coeur d’Alene, faces the same charges with only one count of delivering a controlled substance. 

Fisher allegedly kept more than 28 grams of cocaine in his Coeur d’Alene apartment between May and June of this year, according to court records. Prosecutors said Fisher met with Scholwinski and Siler for the purpose of selling cocaine to an unidentified person during the same period of time. 

Scholwinski allegedly sold cocaine to the unidentified person in May, according to court records, while Siler allegedly sold cocaine to the same person in June. 

Police obtained $100,000 arrest warrants for each man Thursday and executed those warrants the same day at the Carrington Place Apartments in Coeur d’Alene. 

A search of the apartment allegedly yielded “trafficking quantities” of cocaine, as well as psychedelic mushrooms and drug paraphernalia, according to court records. In Idaho, possessing 28 grams or more of cocaine is considered trafficking. 

The three men remain in jail on $50,000 bail.

In a news release issued Thursday, Coeur d’Alene police said two other men were arrested “as a result of the investigation and the illegal narcotics seized.” 

Caden M. Perry, 20, of Coeur d’Alene, is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, one a felony and the other a misdemeanor. 

A probation officer contacted Coeur d’Alene police Thursday after finding evidence on Perry’s phone of drug sales and illegal drugs located in Perry’s residence, according to court records. Perry was on felony probation after pleading guilty to possession of a controlled substance in 2022. 

Police said they found five small bags of cocaine in Perry’s residence, as well as a handgun and ammunition. When questioned by police, Perry allegedly admitted to buying cocaine and reselling it in smaller quantities.

Perry remains in jail on $50,000 bail.

The Coeur d’Alene Police Department initially reported in a news release that Jake Farrar had been charged with drug-related offenses. However, Farrar was not charged with any crime and the Coeur d’Alene Police Department has since removed his name from the news release.
