Excessive heat watch in Central WA

SPOKANE — The National Weather Service has put out an excessive heat watch for multiple counties in Washington, including Grant County for this Friday and Saturday.

In Moses Lake the high for Friday is 105 degrees and Saturday is 101 degrees. The high for both Sunday and Monday is 100 degrees. The statement says to avoid outdoor activities during the heat of the day and to drink plenty of water. The statement says that the hot and dry weather will likely result in more wildfire smoke.
