COLUMBIA BASIN — Nearly 300 athletes and coaches from around the Columbia Basin were named to their respective all-league lists during the spring sports season. Read along for a full list of selections, including numerous player of the year awards.

    Wahluke senior Diego Olivares (9) was named the South Central Athletic Conference (East) Player of the Year during the boys soccer season this spring. Olivares was one of eight Warriors to receive all-league honors.
 
 
    Almira/Coulee-Hartline senior Beth Okamoto was named the Northeast 1B League’s Most Valuable Player in softball this spring.
 
 
    Royal sophomore Jill Allred received the Player of the Year award South Central Athletic Conference (East) this softball season.
 
 
    Warden senior Emma Cox, one of seven Cougar softball players who received all-league recognition, was named as the Eastern Washington Athletic Conference (East) Player of the Year.
 
 
    Moses Lake junior Paige Richardson received both a unanimous first-team pitcher placement and the Columbia Basin Big 9’s Most Valuable Player award this softball season.
 
 
    Quincy junior Kasey Toevs (21) was one of seven Jackrabbit boys soccer players to receive all-league awards this spring, four of which were first-team awards.
