Dog Days of Summerfest coming up in Hayden

HAYDEN — The city of Hayden is partnering with Companions Animal Center for the fifth annual Dog Days of Summerfest on June 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Stoddard Park. 

The fun will include a Kootenai County Sheriff's Office K-9 demonstration, prizes, treats, face painting and dog vendors.

Donations will be accepted, and proceeds will go toward improvements at Pawfoot Dog Park on Lancaster Road. 

It is free. and dogs are welcome. The event is sponsored by Idaho Central Credit Union.
