ALL-IDAHO SOFTBALL: Timberlake’s Walsh named to 3A first team

Timberlake High senior catcher Logan Walsh was named to the 3A first team as the all-Idaho softball teams were announced by The Idaho Statesman newspaper of Boise. 

Walsh set an all-class state tournament record with six home runs, and hit .466 this season with 10 homers and 48 RBIs.

Three Timberlake players — senior pitcher Acacia Pecor, junior infielder Marissa Needs and senior outfielder Allilah Dykes — were named to the 3A second team. 

Junior infielder Jenna Barney of Lewiston was named to the 5A second team, the lone 5A Inland Empire League player honored. 

Kaci Kiblen, a junior infielder from Moscow who hit .479 with seven home runs and 34 RBIs, was named to the 4A first team. 

Sophomore outfielder Cadence Skibitsky of Sandpoint was named to the 4A second team. 

Junior catcher Rilee Diffin of Orofino was named to the 2A second team. 

All-Idaho teams are selected by the state’s coaches. The Statesman publishes the results.
