KCSO searching for escaped juvenile

The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office is searching for a juvenile who escaped from the Kootenai County Juvenile Detention Center on Friday.

The KCSO and Coeur d’Alene police were notified that two juveniles had escaped from the detention center about 5:30 p.m.

One juvenile was located in the area of Fourth Street and Gregory Lane by Coeur d’Alene police. He was arrested without incident and booked on injuring a jail facility, conspiracy to commit escape and escape, the release said.

The outstanding juvenile was identified as Caden J. Schreibeis, 15.

He is described as 5 feet, 9 inches tall, about 150 pounds, with medium-length brown hair. He was last seen running wearing a green shirt and blue sweatpants, the release said.
