Rexford man killed in fatal U.S. 93 wreck near Trego

A 56-year-old Rexford man died following a traffic accident on U.S. 93 in Lincoln County near Trego on Monday morning.
According to Montana Highway Patrol, a 50-year-old Eureka man was driving a Toyota 4Runner south on the highway near mile marker 164.1 when he lost control due to slushy road conditions. The driver overcorrected and the vehicle left the right side of the road.
The 4Runner got stuck in the mud and rolled. The Rexford man, who was not wearing a seat belt, died in the crash. The Eureka man, who was wearing a seat belt, was not injured.
Alcohol, drugs, nor speed were suspected in the crash.
