This week’s athlete of the week is Derrick Chamberlain of Sandpoint boys basketball.
Chamberlain, a freshman, received praise from commentators at the 4A state tournament regarding his abilities on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. He posted nine points against Twin Falls and two blocks and two steals against Pocatello.
