A field fire in the Tarkio area got loose Saturday and burned a little over 30 acres. Jake Fallis with the 9-Mile USFS supervised a small crew on Sunday as it was still a threat with the wind. Nathan Tomascak, with the same unit is below working the hot spots. (Monte Turner/Mineral Independent)
