LEWISTON — Senior golfer Braylyn Bayer earned girls medalist honors with 77 strokes for Bonners Ferry in the Lewiston Invitational Bryden Canyon Golf Course for the season opener on March 21 against St. Maries.
Avery Bayer took second with 89 strokes. Overall the Badger girls finished in second place and boys in third place.
For St. Maries senior Seth Swallows, who signed with Community Colleges of Spokane in November, shot a 5-over 76 to earn boys medalist honors.
For the Badger boys Eli Blackkmore led at 91, followed by Jacob Bliss at 92.
The Badgers will host a match at the Mirror Lake Golf Course on April 2, starting at 9 a.m.
