Dave Brink and Cindy Peterson held a class in the old DeBorgia School on creating defensible space around your home before the fire season begins. Included in the free class was information on trees (including fruit trees), shrubs and other perennials that thrive in the west end of Mineral County. The Mineral County Rec Club’s annual Turkey Trot registration, raffle winner announcements, and snacks were held in the parking lot across from where the new Community Food Bank of Mineral County building is under construction on west Mullan in Superior.
