Washington Trust to cut ribbon on new location

EPHRATA — Washington Trust Bank will celebrate the opening of its new Ephrata location with a ribbon cutting at 10:30 a.m. May 23 at the new branch, 261 Basin St. SW.
The former Washington Trust branch did business at 12 Basin St. NW for about 80 years, according to a press release. The new branch opened Feb. 5.
The Ephrata Chamber of Commerce will help cut the ribbon, which will be followed by lunch courtesy of the Washington Trust Bank BBQ bus, the press release said.
The branch offers personal and business banking and lending, investment services and commercial banking. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday. The drive-up window is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
