The Jacklin Arts and Cultural Center is inviting artists to share their artistic expressions of hope and healing in the upcoming "Art Uplifts" exhibit.

In its third year, "Art Uplifts" is a community exhibit that celebrates the healing power of art and the strength of people in the community. Art has the power to uplift and help navigate life’s challenges: recovery, grief, loss, diagnosis and more. No matter the struggle, situation or journey, art can uplift everyone.

Anyone who has benefited from the power of creative expression is eligible to enter. Each artist may submit up to two pieces. Submissions will be accepted through May 20. The show is free to enter.

"Art Uplifts," named for late artist and beloved community member Jimmy Magnuson, will open June 8 and run through July 20.
