MOYIE SPRINGS — The Moyie Springs Outdoor Market is now in full swing and opened to a perfect day on Saturday, May 4.

For opening day the market had a dozen vendors ranging from homemade baked goods, flower baskets and flower starts, jewelry, art, and lots of Mother Day gift ideas. 

Lillie Blackwell, market organizer said the new vendors will be coming every week as it is an open market. 

The market is promoting a Mother’s Day basket, which will include items from vendors. Customers will receive a raffle ticket with purchase at booths from May 4 and May 11, with a drawing taking place on May 11 at the closing of market. Each vendor will be contributing to the basket with an item from their booth.

The market is held Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., May 4 through Aug. 31, outside of Moyie Springs City Hall. 

As an open market, vendors will come and go depending on the week. There will be a variety of vendors, from handmade goods, produce, second hand items and more.
