WENATCHEE — Slots are still available at Wenatchee’s Camp Zanika Lache, a co-ed overnight summer camp for youth and teens ages 6 to 17.

The camp is run by youth development organization Camp Fire’s North Central Washington Council. According to the announcement, campers will live in a rustic cabin that sleeps seven to eight campers of similar age and gender.

Camp activities include swimming, canoeing, kayaking, archery, cookouts, crafts, fishing, challenge ropes course, day hikes, games, songs, nature and backpacking for older children, the announcement said.

The camp will hold eight separate sessions through June, July and August, each with a different theme, according to Camp Fire’s website. Each session is listed at $795; Camp Fire Club members save $100.00 off registration, and the announcement stated there are some camp scholarships available.
