OTHELLO — Anthony Earl Lee, 33, of Othello was arrested for suspicion of theft in the second degree and suspicion of unlawful use of red dyed diesel after an investigation by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies had responded to a report of stolen diesel in the 10 block of S. Reynolds Road on May 20, according to an ACSO statement. The subsequent investigation led officers to the 200 block of E. Juniper Street in Othello and a search warrant was served at that location with evidence collected in the form of full totes of red diesel fuel.

Investigators believe that other fuel thefts throughout Adams and Franklin counties may be associated with Lee, but investigations are still pending according to the statement.
