Barry Clinton 'Clint' Blegen, 66

Barry Clinton “Clint” Blegen, 66, of Osburn, Idaho, passed away Oct. 28, 2024, at Silverton Health and Rehabilitation of Cascadia in Silverton, Idaho. Clint was born Aug. 5, 1958, in Wallace, Idaho, a son of the late William and Doloris (Kittrell) Blegen. 

Clint attended local schools and was a Wallace High School graduate, Class of 1976. He had worked numerous jobs throughout the Silver Valley, mostly in construction. Clint was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, snowmobiling and ATV riding. The mountains of North Idaho were his home and where he felt most comfortable. He also had quite a green thumb tending to his vegetable garden.

His other interests were RC cars and flying drones. Clint was a devoted Kansas City Chiefs and Seattle Seahawks fan, as well as NASCAR. He was always flipping back and forth between channels, trying to catch the different games or races. 

Clint is survived by his life partner of 28 years, Teri Hayman, of Osburn, Idaho; three children, Amanda Moore of Nevada, Amber (Mitch) Pennock of Post Falls, Idaho, and Kimber Blegen of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; his brother, Zane (Linda) Blegen, of Auburn, Wash.; 12 grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. 

Clint’s family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff of Silverton Health and Rehabilitation of Cascadia for the excellent care they gave to him. 

A gathering for his family and friends will be held Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024, at 2 p.m. at the family home, 1208 E. Larch, Osburn, Idaho.
