Local home builder wins award

Honor Built Homes, LLC announced that they have been awarded “Best Custom Modular Home Builder 2024 — Idaho” from the BUILD Construction & Engineering Awards 2024. Each year, the research and judging team at BUILD take a deep dive into the construction and engineering sectors, providing a trusted guide to the trailblazing companies that are disrupting the industry and shaping this vital market today. The Construction and Engineering Awards 2024 were poised to be the most in-depth campaign yet, encompassing every stage of the construction process — from design, planning, to execution and maintenance — and covering key players across the entire global market.

Husband and wife team, Tina and Darin Holtz, run the company together and Honor Built Homes is on a mission to provide high-quality homes for the average American buyer at a price they can afford. They're heading up the future of off-site construction with their prefab panelized and modular homes. The prefab panels or modules are manufactured in a factory with precision crafted technology and then shipped to the build site. The company is a one-stop-shop for clients, offering the best factory-built components at extremely competitive prices and homes which require 60% less framing than an onsite home.

For their modular homes, more than 85% of the home is completed in the factory before it is delivered to the client’s site, resulting in a streamlined building process that doesn’t demand significant expertise of its clients but offers substantial savings, benefits and quality. Much of the site work and factory work are taking place at the same time creating a faster build time which clients appreciate. Though it is a much more simplified process when compared to traditional builds, Tina and Darin will always lay out precisely what the work entails and what option or solution is best for each client.

“Our clients are the 'Average Joe.' We don’t build big, fancy, custom multi-million-dollar homes. Our target market is the average American Family trying to obtain the dream of home ownership," Tina said. "Our company was founded on honor, as stated in our name. Everything we do, we do with honor.”
