NOTES: Coeur d’Alene’s boys won for the first time since 2011 last year in Pocatello ... The Vikings were ranked 13th nationally in the latest DyeStat.com rankings, released on Thursday .... Girls medalists at last year’s meet included Coeur d’Alene junior Olivia May (11th), Post Falls senior Kaylynn Misner (12th), Post Falls junior Talia Bonville (13th) and Lake City senior Hazel Kunkel, who won the District 1 race last Thursday at Farragut State Park, who was 17th ... Coeur d’Alene senior Max Cervi-Skinner (sixth), Coeur d’Alene junior Mitchell Rietze (10th) and senior Zack Cervi-Skinner (16th) were boys medalists. Coeur d’Alene’s win snapped a streak of two-straight titles by Rocky Mountain of Meridian.

NOTES: Lakeland’s girls tied for the District 1-2 title with Sandpoint last Thursday at Farragut State Park in Athol ... Preston won its third straight girls title, while Idaho Falls won its first title since winning three straight from 2017 to 2019.

Last year’s champions: South Fremont boys, Snake River girls. 

Returning individual champions: none.

Local qualifiers: Timberlake boys and girls; Annabelle Carr, Coeur d’Alene Charter; Emmaline Carr, Coeur d’Alene Charter; Noah Curtis, Coeur d’Alene Charter. 

NOTES: Timberlake junior Vanessa McLachlan was third at state last year in 19 minutes, 22.96 seconds, followed by Carr of Coeur d’Alene Charter in 20:09.70 ... Timberlake’s boys were third at state last year ... Timberlake’s girls were sixth at state last year ... Timberlake sophomore Caleb Royce was eighth at state last year ... Timberlake’s girls qualified for state for the 19th time in 21 seasons ... Timberlake’s boys have advanced to state 21 straight times, winning their 15th district title.

Local qualifiers: Kellogg boys. 

NOTES: Kellogg won the District 1-2 meet last Thursday at Pinehurst Golf Course ... Priest River senior Brayden Lamanna was 14th at state last year.

NOTES: Raft River edged Victory Charter 52-53 for the girls title last year ... Rockland edged Victory Charter 56-58 for the boys team title last year.
