COEUR d’ALENE — Record voter turnout is expected in Idaho today. 

In Kootenai County, 34,307 voters had cast ballots in person as of 3 p.m. 

Polls are open until 8 p.m. Idaho offers same-day voter registration at the polls. To register to vote at the polls, bring a current photo ID and proof of residence.
