EPHRATA — Payments due to Grant County District Court will not be processed for a few days, possibly through the end of the week, after unauthorized activity was discovered on the statewide Washington Courts network.

Payment processing will be unavailable, according to a press release from GCDC Court Administrator Desiree Ochocinski.

Case information maintained in the GCDC case management system also will be unavailable, Ochocinski wrote.

“All inquiries regarding the system outage, security measures, timeline for restoration or statewide impact should be directed to the Administrative Office of the Courts,” she wrote. “We anticipate these service modifications will remain in effect throughout this week.”

The AOC office is located in Olympia. Updates will be posted on the AOC social media pages under Washington Courts, she wrote.

People will still be able to file paper documents in person, and court records in the GCDC offices will be accessible, she wrote.  The GCDC offices will remain open during regular business hours.

People with a scheduled court date should plan to attend unless notified otherwise, she wrote.
