MOSES LAKE — Sure, the weather may be a little intimidating, but it takes more than that to keep Columbia Basin seniors from getting out and having a good time. Here are a few ideas for November. Nov. 7-9

RNR Garden Creations Holiday Market

Nov. 10

Hank Cramer in concert

Join the Quincy Valley Historical Society for a unique opportunity to reflect, remember and honor veterans with renowned Northwest folk singer Hank Cramer. Veterans pancake breakfast

Nov. 13

Tanyalee Davis: ‘Unstoppable Me’

Tanyalee Davis is a 3-foot 6-inch standup comedian who inspires, enlightens and entertains her audience while headlining at comedy clubs, theaters and festivals around the world. Tanyalee holds the Guinness World Record for the shortest comedian, has appeared on “Live at The Apollo,” worked on the “Austin Powers” films, recently released a documentary, and is currently touring across the U.S, U.K. and Canada. Grant County LEAD Summit

Join leaders and stakeholders from public and taxing entities across Grant County for a summit focused on enhancing communication, collaboration, and planning for the future. This event is an opportunity to network with stakeholders, discuss new legislation, share insights, and exchange ideas that will shape the growth of our community. Admission is $25. Sponsored by Grant County, Grant County PUD, Banner Bank and the Grant County Economic Development Council. 8:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. at the Grant County Fairgrounds, 3953 Airway Drive NE, Moses Lake. Nov. 15

Members Exhibition opening

The Members Exhibition celebrates the Moses Lake Museum & Art Center’s members with an exhibition of homegrown artistic talent in a wide variety of media. The exhibit will open with a reception catered by Paradise and featuring live music from Jon White. Stick around for Art After Hours, where participants will make a button Christmas tree ornament. Exhibition runs through Dec. 27. Reception begins at 4 p.m., Art After Hours at 6:30 p.m. at the museum’s main gallery, 406 S. Balsam St. Info: 509-764-3830.

Downtown tree lighting

‘The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical'

Based on the popular Percy Jackson books, the musical follows Percy, a teenager who discovers he’s the son of the Greek sea god Poseidon, as he embarks on a quest to prevent a war among the gods. Along the way, he and his friends face mythological creatures and race against time to save the world. Evening performances $12 general or $15 reserved, matinees $12 general, $12 reserved. Friends of the Moses Lake Library book sale

Poppin’ Up 509 Winter Wonderland Market

Bring the family out to enjoy this free pop-up market. This is the perfect place to find all of the local hand-crafted Christmas gifts.
