Coeur d’Alene Tribe names Louie-McGee public relations manager
Coeur d’Alene Tribal member Kenny Louie-McGee has just been announced as the new public relations manager for the Coeur d’Alene Tribe. After an extensive search, Louie-McGee was selected to lead the Tribe's public communications, including media relations, social media strategy and website management.
Louie-McGee holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science, along with associate degrees in web development and liberal arts. He has an impressive background as a software engineer and web developer, with ongoing work developing “Coyote Stories,” a language translator app designed to promote and preserve the Coeur d’Alene language and stories. Growing up in Coeur d’Alene as a Tribal member, Louie-McGee is deeply connected to the community and brings invaluable insights into the cultural narratives of the Tribe. His experience working collaboratively within teams and his dynamic personality make him exceptionally suited for the role.
