Patrick Newcomb, or Pat as he preferred to be known, 68, passed away peacefully at his home in Priest River, Idaho, on Nov. 1, 2024, surrounded by family and friends.
He was born Nov. 12, 1955, in Sacramento, Calif., to Allan “Bud” and Lea Newcomb.
Pat was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was a proud and active member of International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 302, until his retirement. Pat was predeceased by both parents, Bud and Lea; and his great-nephew, Weston La Barbera. He is survived by his daughters, Dabre Newcomb and family of Kenai, Alaska, Danett Fouts and family of Priest River, Idaho, and Kathleen Russell and family of Bellingham, Wash.; and siblings Micheal Newcomb, Melonee Long, and Kelly Newcomb and family, all of Alaska.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, 2024, at the Laclede Community Center, 24 Moore Loop Road in Laclede, Idaho.
