Coeur d’Alene police are seeking information about a man charged with sexually abusing children.

Josiah E. Bryan, 31, of Coeur d’Alene, is charged with three counts of lewd conduct with a child under the age of 16, a felony punishable by up to life in prison.

Bryan is accused of sexually abusing minor children between 2007 and 2008, according to a news release issued by the Coeur d’Alene Police Department.

Police said the alleged abuse was reported to the agency Oct. 1 and investigators conducted interviews with involved parties before prosecutors filed charges and a $150,000 warrant was issued for Bryan’s arrest.

Detectives traveled to San Antonio, where Bryan was living during the investigation, in order to interview him. Police arrested Bryan on the warrant and extradited him to Coeur d’Alene.

Bryan posted bail last week, according to court records.

Coeur d’Alene police are asking anyone with information related to alleged sexual abuse where Bryan is the suspect to contact Detective Dan Haley at 208-769-2320.
