The Columbia Falls volleyball team took fourth at the Western A divisional tourney last week, punching a berth to the state tourney.  

The Wildkats beat Corvallis 3-0 in the opener, lost to Dillon 3-0, then beat Polson, 3-2 and then lost to Bigfork 3-0. Whitefish, which was tops in the division, did not qualify for state. Stats and game scores were not available. 

The Kats face Billings Central, the No. 1 seed in the east in the opener of the state tourney in Bozeman on Thursday.
