PASCO — Numerous Basin runners took to the Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco for Saturday’s State Cross Country Championships. See below for results from all classifications.

Moses Lake: senior Angel Verduzco (16:27.2, 68th place), junior Liam O’Shea (16:56.9, 115th), senior Jesse Humpherys (16:57.9, 116th), sophomore Duane Zamora (17:13.7, 129th), senior Mitchell West (17:24.9, 142nd), freshman Lane Christensen (17:25.4, 143rd) and sophomore Noah Demchuk (17:29, 146th). Team finished 15th.

Girls

Moses Lake: Sophomore Rachel Nofziger (20:18.4, 108th), freshman Natalie Vehrs (20:38.8, 119th), freshman Kaytlyn Russell (20:53.3, 134th), junior Alexis Feller (20:58.6, 138th), sophomore Emma Wallace (21:11.1, 145th), junior Bria Bodenman (21:32.6, 150th) and senior Rianna Nelson (21:44.5, 153rd). CHENEY – Eastern fell in straight sets to Sacramento State on Wednesday night, according to a statement from EWU athletics. The Eagles were led by Kalista Lukovich and Alyssa Radke with seven kills apiece, while Elle Bruegman anchored the defense with 14 digs. Eastern also continued to showcase one of its season-long strengths at the net, out-blocking the Hornets 9–3 with seven solo blocks.
