ACSO arrests Moses Lake man for suspected burglaries

MOSES LAKE – A Moses Lake man was arrested on suspicion of burglary Tuesday.
Deputies with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office arrested Tomas Diaz-Layna, 34, of Moses Lake on suspicion of multiple crimes. The charges include residential burglary, second-degree burglary, possession of a stolen motor vehicle and first-degree theft.
Deputies alongside Moses Lake Police Department executed a search warrant in Grant County, according to a release from ACSO Sheriff Dale Wagner.
The departments had probable cause after investigating stolen vehicles and multiple burglaries. Deputies recovered evidence and stolen property linked to the burglaries in both Ritzville and Whitman County.
The investigation remains ongoing according to the statement from Wagner.
