Carol Jean Enders, 83, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho passed away Nov. 6, 2024, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, at Pacifica Courtyard Senior Living. She was born Oct. 30, 1941, to Albert Louis Emehiser and Irene Christine (Larson) Emehiser.
After graduating from Coeur d’Alene High School in 1959, she married the love of her life, Jim. Carol worked at Diamond Lumber Mill and Moen’s Concrete until she and Jim owned and operated Lakers Tavern from 1977 to 1998 and Lake City Fast Photo from 1997 to 2006. One of her favorite things to do was spend time at their lake home and then their river property. She was an avid reader who loved to sit by the water with a good book. Carol enjoyed spending time with her family and her beloved dog, Maggie. She loved decorating, cooking and entertaining family and friends at her home.
Carol is survived by her son, Brad, and daughter-in-law Andrea Enders; son Mark and daughter-in-law Erin Enders; grandchildren: Amanda, Izzy, Rob, Thomas and Cole; great-grandchildren: Logan, Oliver and Jonah.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim; parents Albert and Irene; sister and brother-in-law June (Emehiser) and Del Gittel.
A graveside service will be held at Riverview Cemetery, 1065 Lincoln Way, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, 2024. A celebration of life, likely in the spring, will be announced at a later date.
