Viks senior Potter among three
signees for Boise State golf
Grant Potter, a senior at Coeur d'Alene High, was among three signings for the Boise State men's golf program on Wednesday, Bronco coach David Trainor announced.
Potter earned three district medalist honors in the last four years at Coeur d'Alene. In 2023, Potter had five Top 5 finishers at the Idaho State Junior, Idaho State Amateur and state high school golf tournament. He also placed in the top 10 of the WJGA Eastern Open, shooting a first-round 65.
Sean Lampropoulos of East High in Salt Lake City and Ryan Shepherd of Timberline High in Boise were the other signees announced by Trainor.
Shepherd was the champion of the JGAA Phoenix Metro, the Idaho State Junior and the McCall Junior Amateur in 2022.
Idaho adds former Owyhee star Rasmussen
Jackson Rasmussen, the No. 1 ranked high school prospect in the state, signed a letter of intent to play basketball at the University of Idaho, coach Alex Pribble announced.
Rasmussen, a 6-foot-7 forward from Meridian, plays at Utah Prep in Hurricane, Utah. He is ranked as the No. 52 power forward in the class of 2025 by 247 Sports. He played at Owyhee from his freshman to junior season.
“Jackson is a huge addition to this program,” Pribble said. “He has been a priority recruit from the moment our staff got to Idaho, and we’re thrilled he chose to be a Vandal. He checks all the boxes. His combination of skill, size and toughness makes him college ready. He has been very well coached and has gotten better each year because of his tremendous work ethic.”
Rasmussen earned first-team all-state honors and Defensive Player of the Year, guiding the Storm to state championships in 2022 and 2024.

Washington State volleyball coach Korey Schroeder announced the addition of six players — Jackie Carle, Lauren Johnson, Maddy Joswick, Ziah Sneva, Eliana Ti'a and Livia Ward — to the program for the 2025 season.
Joswick, a 5-foot-8 libero from Central Valley High in Spokane, was named a team captain in both her junior and senior seasons and is on track to be named to the All-Greater Spokane League for a third time after receiving honorable mention as a sophomore and first-team as a junior.
Ti'a is a 5-9 outside hitter from Centennial High and was named the conference Player of the Year, leading the Patriots to a fourth-place finish in the state 6A tournament in Idaho Falls.
