Jeaninne Snyder

Jeaninne Snyder passed away on Nov. 6, surrounded by the family she cherished.
Born on May 12, 1960, in Rockford, Illinois to Walter and Marie Filipowicz, Jeaninne was the sixth of nine children.
In 1978, she married Rick Snyder in Washington. Their marriage lasted 34 years and though they eventually went their separate ways, they always felt blessed to share their greatest joys: their two children.
Jeaninne lived life with “spice” and passion and she never hesitated to speak her mind. She worked tirelessly as a CNA and had an immense respect for nurses and the entire medical community, always recognizing the strength and dedication it takes to care for others.
Jeaninne’s heart belonged to her family, especially her seven beloved grandchildren: Madelynn, Piper, Samuel, Ava, Zane, Greyson and James. She often said if she’d known how amazing grandkids were, she would have had them first. Spending time with her grandchildren filled her life with happiness; they were her world.
Jeaninne is survived by her two children, Walter Snyder (Briana) and Nikki Schnackenberg (Eric), who will carry on her love, wit and wisdom. Her brothers and sisters—Jay (Cindy) Turner, Kelvin Filipowicz, Trena Price, Theresa Hullinger, Debra Tucker, Lillian (Don) Lance, Angela (Jose) Rodriguez and Michelle Sanchez—along with countless nieces and nephews, remember her as a steadfast source of support, laughter and love.
Jeaninne cared deeply for her friends and was always there to listen, give advice and offer comfort. Her absence leaves an unfillable space in the lives of those she touched.
Mom, Nana and dear friend—she will be missed more than words can capture. Her love and spirit live on in each of us, keeping us on our toes, just as she always did.
We love you, Nana. We miss you more than you can know.
There will be a service in the spring to celebrate Jeaninne's life.
