Fogle makes it official, signs with Gonzaga men's basketball
SPOKANE — Gonzaga men's basketball coach Mark Few announced the signing of Davis Fogle on Friday.
Fogle, who had earlier verbally committed to the Zags, is a four-star recruit according to ESPN and 247Sports. He ranks as the 38th top recruit in his class on ESPN 100.
The No. 3-ranked player in Arizona averaged 15.7 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists, shooting nearly 59 percent from inside the arc at the NBPA camp. Fogle also played in Pangos All American camps, and was the Most Valuable Player on the Under Armour Rise circuit.
During his junior season, Fogle averaged 31.4 points per game, shooting 50 percent from the field. He also grabbed 9.7 rebounds and blocked 2.2 shots per outing at Anacortes High. Following the season he was named the Northwest Conference Player of the Year. In his sophomore year, he averaged 24.6 points per game. Fogle will play his senior season at AZ Compass Prep in Chandler, Ariz., which has produced several NBA players.
"The player development is top tier at Gonzaga, they have a great plan for me and the culture is such a family vibe and on my visit I fell in love with it and it just felt like home," Fogle told 247Sports.
