British folk rock band Mumford and Sons will headline the 2025 Under the Big Sky music festival alongside country star Tyler Childers and country rock act The Red Clay Strays.
The three-day event at Big Mountain Ranch near Whitefish will run July 18-20. Along with the headliners, the annual festival will bring country, bluegrass and Americana musicians including Oliver Anthony, Hailey Whitters, Luke Grimes and Houndmouth to the Flathead Valley.
Presale tickets are available Nov. 21 at noon. Remaining tickets go on sale at noon on Nov. 22.
Mumford and Sons, who formed in London in the 2000s, recently released the digital compilation album "Gentleman of the Road," which features hits like "Little Lion Man" and "I Will Wait." Childers' performance in Northwest Montana in July will come amid a lengthy 2025 tour. The Red Clay Strays, who Rolling Stone describes as "arguably the hottest new act on the scene when it comes to Americana and rock music," last week released their first live album, "Live At The Ryman."
Famously known for winning five Grammy Awards, the iconic Wynonna Judd is set to take the stage at the festival. Other notable acts performing at the festival next year include country singer-songwriters Dylan Gossett and Wyatt Flores, who released his debut album "Welcome to the Plains" earlier this year, and Flint, Michigan-based Whitey Morgan and the 78s.
As in years past, the stages at Under the Big Sky will feature Montana and Flathead Valley-based performers, including Halladay Quist, Hannah King, The Helnore Highwater Band and Radio Ranch.
