Four players from the old Western 14C volleyball conference were named to all-star teams released this week.

The conference, now merged with the 13C into a mega-13C conference, had 24 players named to the all-state and all-conference teams.

Heading the list of local players is Hot Springs junior Kara Christensen, who was selected to the 13C all-conference team.

Also making the list are two players from St. Regis, senior Shylah Dalka and junior Shelby Simkins, who were named to the all-conference second team.

Noxon had one player, senior Seanna Richter, who also made the second team.

Conference champion Granite (Philipsburg) placed four players on the all-star teams, including all-state selections Montanah Piar and Ella Tallon, both seniors.

Charlo, a member of the old 14C conference, also had four players named to the All-conference team, with Leah Cahoon (junior) and senior Seeley McDonald selected to the first team. Junior Bryanne Zempel and sophomore GG Hawks were named to the second team all-conference squad.

Drummond also had four players selected to the teams, led by first-teamers Kimberly Parsons and Reminton Cline.

Circle defeated Gardiner 3-1 for the state Class C championship this past weekend.
