Washington Commanders

After being inactive in Week 3, the tight end from Coeur d'Alene High had one tackle on special teams in Washington's 42-14 win over the Arizona Cardinals last Sunday in Glendale, Ariz. He played 14 snaps, all on special teams. The Commanders (3-1) play host to the Cleveland Browns on Sunday in Landover, Md. Yankoff, who went on to play at Washington and UCLA, has seen action in three of the Commanders' four games.


Kyle Manzardo

Cleveland Guardians

The former Lake City High and Washington State star, currently with the major league club, spent part of the season at Triple-A Columbus, and was named the International League All-Star first baseman for 2024. In 83 games for the Clippers this year, Manzardo hit .267 with 20 homers, 20 doubles and 49 RBI. Manzardo was called up to the Guardians on Sept. 1, and is hitting .234 with five homers and 15 RBI for Cleveland, which won the American League Central Division and opens the playoffs Saturday vs. Detroit in the A.L. Division Series.


Cole Jaworski

Jaworski, a junior from Coeur d'Alene High and Community Colleges of Spokane, finished tied for 21st in the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate Invitational in Jonesboro, Ark., with a team best 2-under 68-76-70—214.
