One-on-one customer service, great selection, and even better prices. That's what Blackwell Wholesale Supply aims to deliver. Appliances, which are sold by appointment only, are typically 40% to 60% off of the manufactured suggested retail price,
While the supply constantly changes — one of the reasons owner Beau Blackwell doesn't post photos of his inventory online — he offers a wide range of appliances, with everything from washers and dryers, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, microwaves, and ranges.
The appliances are a combination of overstock items and "scratch-and-dent" appliances, a brand-new unused item that has a slight cosmetic issue such as a dent or a scratch. Because he's able to get the items at a discount, Blackwell said he's able to pass on those savings to his customers.
"I felt the community had a need and I want to help the Bonner County community fill that need," Blackwell said.
Locally owned and operated, Blackwell said he wants to do right by his customers by offering reasonable prices at all times. A God-first company, he said treating customers as he would want to be treated will help his business grow and help him become a long-time business owner.
That commitment to better prices and service has attracted notice as word of mouth about the store's affordability and selection have helped Blackwell Wholesale take off "big time," he said.
With area residents quick to make appointments to shop for appliances, Blackwell said he hopes to add a second location so that he can increase his inventory even more.
"We care about our customers, community and service," he said.
Blackwell Wholesale Supply is located at 323 McGhee Road, Suite 109. Delivery is available to Bonner and Kootenai counties.
