Averill Hospitality has acquired The Pine Lodge in Whitefish adding to the family-owned hospitality company's portfolio of hotels.
The Pine Lodge, located on the Whitefish River, was owned by Delaware North of Buffalo, New York, which had operated the hotel under the Choice Brand, Ascend Collection.
“We are thrilled to officially welcome The Pine Lodge into the Averill Hospitality family,” said Brian Averill, president of Averill Hospitality in a release. “This acquisition enhances our offerings in Whitefish and provides our clients with another fantastic lodging option. We deeply value the exceptional staff at The Pine Lodge and are excited to keep the current team on board as we continue to create memorable experiences for travelers to Whitefish.”
The Pine Lodge, known for its scenic riverside location and welcoming atmosphere, will now be managed locally, allowing for a more personalized guest experience and a strong connection to the community, according to a release.
The company’s extensive experience in the local hospitality industry ensures that the transition will be seamless, allowing guests to enjoy the same beloved amenities and outstanding service that have become synonymous with The Pine Lodge brand, according to the company.
“The addition of The Pine Lodge continues our family’s dedication to supporting the local community and enhancing visitors' experiences in the picturesque Whitefish area,” said Averill. “Having rooms on the riverfront complements our lake and downtown locations for travelers looking for unique, locally-owned properties.”
