Tate wins LeGrizz ultramarathon up North Fork

Evie Tate of Missoula won the LeGrizz ultramarathon Saturday up the North Fork. She finished in 6 hours, 33 minutes, 3 seconds. Paul Paschal of Whitefish was second in 6:37.5. Tate’s mark was a new course record.

The lone runner from Columbia Falls was Wendy Allyn Sisk, who took 45th in 11:17.

Top runner in the 10K was Brian Furer of Columbia Falls, with a 55.18.2

Top runner in the 5K was Caroline Cutter, 13, of Loganbville, Georgia, who finished in 28 minutes, 34 seconds.

Several Columbia Falls women did well. Lisa Levdansky was fourth, Amy Good, fifth, Melissa Rausch sixth, Kellen Bennett seventh and Blayne Furey eighth.
