Coeur d'Alene High School Theatre invites community members to come along on an extraordinary journey back into the Wizarding World with its production of "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child."

This special high school edition brings J.K. Rowling's magical universe to life, focusing on the next generation of wizards. The story picks up where the original series left off, following Harry Potter, now a father, as his youngest son, Albus, embarks on his own adventures at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Together, they face dark forces, unravel time's mysteries and confront a legacy neither fully understands.

“Being able to be a part of the magic of 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child High School Edition' is magic within itself," said Madison Fraser, high school senior stage manager.  "I have been very fortunate to work with such an amazing cast and crew.”

Director Jared Helm said this production been a beautiful journey, helping to illuminate the power of personal acceptance and love.

"Working with this group of young artists has been a magical experience I will cherish for years to come," he said.

The show runs at 7 tonight and 7 p.m. Oct. 24, 25 and 26 at the CHS Theatre, 5530 N. Fourth St., Coeur d'Alene.

Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for students, seniors and children and $8 with a CHS ASB card. Visit chstheater.org for tickets and details.
