SANDPOINT — A host of housekeeping items make up the majority of Bonner County commissioners' Tuesday meeting.

As part of the consent agenda, the commissioners are slated to approve 10 liquor license requests and invoices over $5,000 by the Bonner County Sheriff's Office to purchase mobile radios of use in deputies' patrol vehicles, work to outfit several BCSO vehicles, and payment of a repair of a vehicle damaged in a collision with a deer.

Bonner County Road and Bridge is seeking permission to repair a vehicle damaged when a tree fell on the 2016 GMC Sierra 2500.

Bonner County Clerk Michael Rosedale will be seeking approval on four batch claim requests with the first totaling $347,258.97, the second totaling $5,531.68, the third totaling $341,105.02 and the fourth totaling $6,699.31. Rosedale is also bringing an audit agreement with Zwygart John & Associates for an estimated $68,000.

Facilities and Engineering are appearing before the board for permission to move just over $108,806 from its capital construction line item for Fiscal Year 2024 to the upcoming fiscal year. The reason is to fund outstanding or unanticipated invoices for the EMS complex project.

The Facilities Department is seeking permission to move forward with a contract with Lippert Excavation and Pipeline for winter snow removal at the Bonner County Juvenile Detention Center. The contract is identical to the previous year's contract and funding would come out of the appropriate budget, Teddi Lupton, Public Works director, said in memo on the proposal included in the commissioners' meeting packet.

The board is being asked to approve the 59.94-acre Nobles Estates subdivision. If approved, the parcel would be divided into 12 roughly 5-acre residential lots. Currently zoned Rural 5, the subdivision meets the zone's requirements, Jake Gabell, Bonner County planner, said.

Also on the agenda is an agreement with Safe Haven Baby Boxes, which aims to place the newborn safety devices in the county.

The Bonner County Sheriff's Office is slated to bring approval to revise its budget to include funding for a fence around the sheriff's office complex. The project was approved by the Board of County Commissioners at its Sept. 17 meeting.

Tuesday’s meeting is set to end with two executive sessions: One regarding a hiring request and the other regarding possible litigation item. Executive sessions are closed to the public to give officials a chance to discuss confidential information; however, all decisions must be made in open session.
