Douglas Paul Greason

Douglas Paul Greason, 69, of Apollo Beach, Florida passed away on Oct. 10, 2024.

Doug was born on March 4, 1955, to Ross and Adeline Greason in Libby, Montana where he spent most of his life. 

He attended Libby Senior High School and after graduating in 1973 he enlisted in the Army. He served as a personnel records specialist and was awarded a National Defense Service Medal and Marksman Badge. He was honorably discharged in October of 1979. 

After his military service, he returned home and worked at St. Regis Lumber Mill on the green chain.

His four siblings survive Doug: including Jody Alkire of Asotin, Washington, Patty Callant of Washougal, Washington, Elise Hoolihan of Apollo Beach, Florida, and Darien Greason of Libby, Montana. Surviving nieces and nephews are; Ralph Roberts of Livingston, Montana, Josie Roberts of Spokane, Washington, Greg Roberts of Olivehurst, California, Alan Roberts of Port Orchard, Washington, Brent Jones of Boulder, Colorado, Erica Jones of Helena, Montana and Brenna Alkire of Astotin, Washington. 

Doug is also survived by brother-in-law Larry Zirkle and sister-in-law Kerri Fox.

Doug will be put to rest in the National Military Cemetery with honors in Sarasota, Florida. Arrangements are pending.
