Elaine Louise Eberhardt was born to Eleanor L. and Lavern L. Deines on Nov. 2, 1960, in Kansas City, Missouri.

Elaine passed away the morning of Oct. 8, 2024, at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center in Libby, Montana, due to stage four cancer.

She grew up on a farm in Nebraska with eight siblings. As a Christian woman living in faith, she had strong family values. Elaine was an amazing mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister and friend.

She lives on through her two daughters: Constance Evans and Jennifer Hinze and her five grandchildren: Asher W. Evans, Addilyn B. Evans, Nathan Hinze, Sasha Hinze and Emily Hinze.

She committed the majority of her time to babysitting her grandchildren Asher W. Evans and Addilyn B. Evans and taking care of her fur baby, a sweet little American Eskimo by the name of Misty.

Elaine was very close with her sister Diane L. Deines who helped support her and her daughter Constance Evans anytime that she was able too. She will be missed very much by her family and by all of the people whose lives she touched.

Elaine truly had a heart of gold and really appreciated the smallest joys in life. She was always smiling, full of laughter and love. May she rest in peace.

"I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die, whoever lives and believes in me will never die." - John 11:25-26

The memorial will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, at the Troy Community Baptist Church. There will be a potluck afterward.

Arrangements are under the care of Schnackenberg Funeral Home of Libby, Montana. Online condolences and memories may be shared by visiting www.schnackenbergfh.com.
