A 68-year-old Columbia Falls man was killed in a three-vehicle wreck near the intersection of U.S. 2 and Brunner Road southwest of Columbia Falls on Tuesday morning.
The man was driving a Chevy Sonic when he collided with an Acura MDX after taking a left onto U.S. 2 from Brunner Road about 7:25 a.m., according to an accident report from Montana Highway Patrol.
The Acura came to a rest on the highway after the collision and was struck by an 82-year-old man from Kalispell driving a Chevrolet Silverado.
Both the 82-year-old and the 46-year-old behind the wheel of the Acura were injured in the crash. All three men were wearing seatbelts, officials said.
Investigators do not believe speed, alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. Road conditions at the time were reported as wet.
