MaryAnn Allan died Oct. 12, 2024 at home surrounded by family. She was born Aug. 19, 1936 in Strasburg, North Dakota to the late Mathias Bossert and Rosina Bossert (Fiest).

MaryAnn was a loving and caring German woman. Some of her hobbies included sewing, embroidering, playing bingo and cooking. Professionally, MaryAnn worked for Thaw, now REI and more recently as a clerk for K-Mart. She was a Red Hatter and volunteered her time and energy at the Senior Center in Columbia Falls making meals. MaryAnn was a collector of Betty Boop memorabilia. She will always be remembered for her German Cabbage Rolls and homemade ham wrapped bread dough. 

MaryAnn is survived by children: Connie Morrison (Keith), Colleen Nannie, Carrie Reynolds, Douglas Schmidt and Donna Reeves; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and siblings: Dolores Downs and Margie Thompson. In addition to her parents, MaryAnn is preceded in death by son, William Schmidt; first husband, Les Schmidt; and second husband, Norm Allan.

A graveside inurnment for MaryAnn Allan will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2024 at Woodlawn Cemetery, 2200 9th Street West, Columbia Falls, MT 59912.
