Northern Arizona volleyball
Stoddard, a 6-foot-1 redshirt sophomore outside hitter from Lake City High, has started 16 of 18 matches for the Lumberjacks (9-9, 2-5 Big Sky) this season, and is second on the team with 174 kills. Northern Arizona travels to Idaho tonight, then faces Eastern Washington in Cheney on Saturday.
• ACADEMIC AWARDS
Lewis-Clark State College had 22 fall student-athletes earn Academic All-Cascade Conference honors. To earn recognition, a student-athlete must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.2, at least a sophomore standing and been at the school for two full semesters. Local honorees were Abbey Neff (volleyball, senior, Lakeland High) and Carter Gordon (cross country, senior, Lake City High).
College of Idaho’s Lucy Evans (junior women’s soccer, Lake City High), Eastern Oregon’s Darby McDevitt (sophomore, women’s soccer, Lakeland) were also honored and Corban’s Courtney Garwood (senior, Coeur d’Alene High) were also honored.
