COEUR d’ALENE — The 33rd annual After 5 Luncheon at The Coeur d’Alene Resort felt more like a family reunion than an employee lunch.
The Hagadone Hospitality Company honored 425 employees who have been with the company for at least five years — 73 of whom have worked for Hagadone for over 25 years.
The smiles and laughter in the room were contagious as people saw familiar faces and were able to catch up with and celebrate their colleagues.
“We’re all like a family,” said Brad Hagadone, president of the Hagadone Corporation. “You guys treat this company like it’s yours — and it is yours.”
After 5 Club members received pins and congratulations from Hagadone. Many prizes were given out.
“Today is about the recognition of what makes Hagadone Hospitality what it is today,” said Craig Brosenne, president of the Hagadone Marine Group. “Every day, I am humbled by what this team achieves.”
The After 5 Luncheon was also a chance to look back over the projects and innovations Hagadone Hospitality has undertaken this past year. It previewed Sherman Tower, “the largest project this company has ever taken on,” Hagadone said.
Construction of the 139-room Sherman Tower is set to begin at 103 Sherman Ave. early next year.
This year’s luncheon also marked 45 years with Hagadone Corporation for Brad Hagadone.
“Today it is our turn to celebrate Brad and his commitment of 45 years,” said Bill Reagan, president of The Coeur d’Alene Resort.
Hagadone was presented with a giant card signed by hundreds of Hagadone Hospitality employees in recognition of his dedication to the company.
