Zags' Nembhard named to Bob Cousy Award Watch List
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Gonzaga's Ryan Nembhard was named to the Bob Cousy Award Watch List. The award recognizes the top point guards in Division I men's college basketball.
The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame announced the 20 watch-list candidates Monday.
Nembhard topped the West Coast Conference in assists per game at 6.9, including 6.8 in league games, and assist-to-turnover ratio (2.9, 4.0 in WCC play). He was 15th in the conference averaging 12.6 points per outing, and 13.8 in WCC action. He was sixth in the conference averaging 1.4 steals per league game. Nembhard had 29 games of five or more assists last season.

Zags' Ejim on 2024-25 Naismith Trophy Women's College Player of the Year Watch List
ATLANTA — Yvonne Ejim of Gonzaga basketball was named to the Naismith Trophy Women's College Player of the Year Watch List. She is one of 50 players in the nation named to the list.
Last season, Ejim led the Zags in scoring with 19.7 points and 8.7 rebounds a game and recorded 15 double doubles. She scored at least 20 points in 16 games this past season and recorded double figures in all 34 games she played in. She was named WCC Player and WCC Defensive Player of the Year along with All-WCC First Team honors. She was named the Becky Hammon Player of the Year and was a Katrina McClain Power Forward of the Year finalist. In the offseason, Ejim was part of the Canadian Olympic Team and played in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
